Job summary

Kahuna USA is seeking an Electrical Engineer I or II in Broomfield, CO to support electrical system design for energy projects. You will contribute to power system design, control systems, and project deliverables while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 5–10 years of experience in power/control design, and travel 5–20% to field locations. PE preferred or EIT progressing toward PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5 to 10 years industry experience in power and/or control system engineering and design.
• PE License preferred, or minimum of EIT with progress toward a PE License.
• Ability to travel 5-20% to field sites.

Responsibilities

• Medium and low voltage power system design.
• PLC-based process control/automation and communication system design.
• Project engineering and technical tasks including client interaction, equipment specification, engineering calculations, drawings reviews, contractor bidding, onsite construction inspection, system commissioning and troubleshooting.
