Kahuna USA LLC in Broomfield, CO is seeking an Electrical Engineer at entry level to join our energy facilities team. You will work with experienced engineers and project managers across design through construction and commissioning, gaining hands-on experience with mentorship.

The role emphasizes low/medium voltage design, PLC-based control, and collaboration on project tasks, with travel to field locations and opportunities to grow technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combined education and experience.
• 0 to 5 years industry experience in power and/or control system engineering and design.
• Willingness/ability to travel to field project locations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Medium and low voltage power system design.
• PLC-based process control/automation and communication system design.
• Project engineering and technical tasks supporting Lead Electrical Engineers (client interaction and job scoping, equipment specification, engineering calculations and drawing reviews, contractor bidding, onsite construction inspection, system commissioning and troubleshooting assistance, project management).

About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer (entry level or early career) to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced electrical engineers and project managers to support the design and execution of industrial facilities within the energy industry. This position provides hands‑on experience across multiple phases of engineering projects, from initial design through construction and commissioning, while offering mentorship and on‑job training to support your professional growth
