Job summary

Intermountain Electronics seeks an Electrical Engineer I for the Denver area. The role focuses on creating and documenting electrical designs for power distribution systems under senior engineers. You will utilize AutoCAD Electric, perform load calculations, and assist in PLC/HMI programming.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or related field and 1–3 years of experience. Commitment to safety and teamwork is essential for this day-shift position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical technology.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred with related degree.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Create electrical design drawings using AutoCAD Electric.
• Assist with load calculations for existing and new designs.
• Program PLCs and HMIs and set up PID loops with guidance.
• Update P&ID drawings and BOMs as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and designers.
