Job summary

Kahuna USA, LLC (Kahuna) is seeking a Lead Designer, Electrical to independently lead advanced electrical design for midstream oil and gas projects. You will develop electrical, instrument, and control drawings and mentor other designers.

Qualifications

• Typically has 10-15 years of progressive relevant design experience or equivalent; 8 years minimum required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and codes (NEC).
• Experience leading design teams on complex midstream projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical, instrument and control drawings for complex projects.
• Mentor junior designers and review drawings for accuracy.
• Perform advanced 3D modeling using Kahuna tools and lead model reviews.
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, and other design teams across projects.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and industry standards throughout design work.
• Prepare drawings for delivery with secure, timely documentation.
