Job summary

Intermountain Electronics, based in Colorado, is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our day shift at the Commerce City facility. You will design power distribution and control systems, interpret electrical drawings, and collaborate with engineers, designers and manufacturing to deliver robust solutions.

Responsibilities include updating P&ID drawings, programming PLCs and HMIs, performing electrical calculations, mentoring junior staff, and participating in design reviews to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience in Power Distribution and switchgear preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Professional Engineer or Engineering In Training certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to resolve design challenges.
• Create and update electrical design and control drawings per project specs.
• Perform electrical calculations for current and new designs.
• Provide mentorship to junior designers and CAD drafters.
• Contribute to electrical design reviews for new and existing products.
