Job summary

Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Barton, AL facility. You will support manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance to optimize process controls and improve equipment run-ability.

The role requires PLC and VFD expertise, the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems, and collaboration with Operations and Maintenance to drive safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of PLCs and control systems.
• Experience with VFDs and instrumentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control issues.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic components is a plus.
• Electrical work readiness and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain linkages with engineers and maintenance staff.
• Attend area safety initiatives and outage planning meetings.
• Assist reliability and engineering to resolve run-ability issues.
• Provide technical support to technicians for repairs.
• Help develop preventive maintenance procedures.
• Participate in weekend duty rotation and site safety programs.
• Share knowledge to improve equipment efficiency with operations.
