Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. in Georgetown, KY is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support primary electrical functions and maintain standards within the Steel Division facilities.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably with PLC knowledge and the ability to read technical drawings. The position offers competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including PTO.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in an Electrical Engineering role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and manuals.
• The ability to speak Japanese is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains electrical standards for Steel Division facilities.
• Communicates standards to contractors and TAI personnel.
• Assists in review and approval of drawings for new equipment.
• Update and archive electrical prints and PLC programs.
• Perform electrical and mechanical inspections and tests.
• Modifications to existing controls for improved process control.
• Assists Maintenance in troubleshooting electrical problems.
• Develop electrical preventative maintenance programs.
