Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to provide expertise for the Corona, CA site’s electrical infrastructure, focusing on optimization, troubleshooting, design, installation, commissioning, start-up, and validation.

You will own the electrical systems and related business processes, coordinate with vendors and contractors, review schematics, and drive safety and environmental responsibilities while supporting ongoing operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

5+ years of electrical engineering experience supporting legacy hardware.
Experience in the manufacturing industry.
Skilled in 120V control wiring and 3-phase 480V motor starters.
Welding and fabrication knowledge and experience.
Calculate figures/amounts and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC hardware/software, variable speed drives, hydraulics, pneumatics.

Responsibilities

Own the site electrical business process, directing the maintenance of the electrical infrastructure.
Design, install, commission, start-up, and validate electrical systems and components.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to provide technical direction.
Review schematics and procedures; recommend equipment selection, design, installation, commissioning, and validation.
Ensure safety, environmental, and waste disposal procedures are followed.
