Job summary

Techounds LLC in Corona, CA seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, develop, and optimize electrical control systems for complex industrial applications. You will drive automation solutions to improve manufacturing processes and system performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will own the site electrical business process, coordinate maintenance, review schematics, and provide technical direction to contractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with NEC, NFPA 71E or LOTO regulations.
• Experience with 120V control wiring and 3-phase 480V motor starters.
• Welding and fabrication knowledge and experience.
• Ability to work well in a team and promote safe practices.
• Read/interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC hardware/software, VFDs, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Own the site electrical business process and direct maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
• Research, design, test, and install electrical apparatus and equipment.
• Coordinate operations in maintenance, repair, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Provide technical direction to contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Review schematics and assist in equipment selection and validation.
• Support installation, startup, commissioning, and operation of systems.
