Job summary

Default Brand is seeking an Electrical Engineer to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of the plant's electrical power distribution systems in a continuous manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and improve electrical infrastructure to minimize downtime and drive energy performance.

Responsibilities include reporting outages, coordinating maintenance, supporting new equipment installations, and mentoring team members on SOPs while adhering to NSG/Pilkington Standards.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in manufacturing environment.
• Computer aided design, preferable AutoCad.
• Demonstrated ability in solving technical problems related to manufacturing processes.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Report plant outages, upsets, and emergencies.
• Engineer solutions to improve quality and safety, reduce waste, and enhance performance.
• Assist in development of new products, processes, or systems related to electrical distribution.
• Design, install, and commission new plant equipment with minimal production disruption.
• Investigate downtime and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate maintenance of plant electrical power systems and distribution.
• Champion energy savings tracking and project implementation.
• Train team members on SOPs and conduct regular audits.
