Job summary

ADM's Decatur East Plant in Decatur, IL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical support for daily operations and long‑term improvements of our manufacturing facility. You will apply knowledge of electrical systems to design, install, operate and maintain equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability, while coaching colleagues across the organization.

Candidates should hold a BSEE or equivalent with 2+ years in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent required; 2+ years in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to reliability.
• Proficiency with industrial electrical systems and NEC; ability to interpret regulations.

Responsibilities

• Improve electrical equipment reliability through inspections, tests, and maintenance.
• Build a pipeline of electrical improvements to support operations.
• Evaluate project scope with process and project engineers.
• Audit and recommend preventive/predictive maintenance for electrical infrastructure.
• Oversee 3rd party electrical contractors and schedules.
• Review data and advise on repairs; monitor UPS/battery PM activities.
