Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks an Electrical Engineer to support site operations, drive safety, and lead process and mechanical improvements. You will work with operators, technicians and external partners to ensure high-quality output at lower cost while maintaining reliability and environmental compliance.

The role spans design, startup and monitoring of new or improved processes, with travel to project sites and collaboration across SES sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electromechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years in industrial or commercial power generation systems.
• Experience with diesel/natural gas generators, switchgear, ATS, and generator controls.
• SCADA systems, industrial networking, and remote monitoring.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, PLC logic, and specs.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer or project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for improvement projects and daily operations.
• Lead safety, process, mechanical, and product quality improvements.
• Develop and implement process improvement programs and best practices.
• Support Process Safety Management and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate design, startup, and monitoring of new or improved processes.
• Collaborate with sister facilities and external resources; occasional SES circuit support.
