Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Franksville, WI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design PCBA assemblies and control systems onsite. The role requires 4+ years of design experience and strong analytical skills to support product development and manufacturing lines.

You will lead cross-functional teams, perform CAD/FEA simulations, and ensure compliance with standards while driving continuous improvement. Onsite-only position with no relocation support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of design experience.
• Experience with PCBA design and electrical circuits.
• Experience with engineering analysis and digital simulations (CAD, FEA, statistical analysis, software tools).
• High voltage design and power system analysis experience.
• Experience with PCB development tools.
• Product design, DFM/DFA, and manufacturing knowledge.
• Excellent data analysis skills including Microsoft Office.
• Root Cause Analysis techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital designs at component level.
• Strong project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product designs, BOMs, drawings, and specifications for control systems and protective relays.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes for existing products.
• Resolve production, manufacturing, and testing issues with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers and Supplier Quality Engineers to evaluate components.
• Investigate quality and reliability issues; document findings and support customer communications.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, DFSS, DFM, DFA methodologies.
• Perform engineering analyses and simulations using CAD and FEA tools.
• Coordinate product verification, validation, and reliability testing with labs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve products and processes.
