Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• AutoCAD Electrical experience is essential.
• Familiarity with CSA, CE, UL, ANSI, NEC, ASME, NFPA70 standards.
• Proven design experience of induction power supply systems and controls.
• Strong simulation and circuit analysis skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years of design experience in Electrical Systems.
• Experience in C++ or embedded microprocessor programming tools is essential.
• FPGA programming and design is essential.
• Experience in RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk View Studio, and IT networks a plus.
• Willing to travel on short notice and relocate to West Bend, WI.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop induction power supply systems based on project requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to optimize performance.
• Apply electromagnetics and power circuitry to design controls for new machines and systems.
• Work on power circuitry with resonant inverters.
• Utilize embedded micro-controllers and mixed analog/digital techniques.
• PCB design and circuit simulation to optimize performance.
• Select and evaluate semiconductor devices and cooling requirements.
• Design electrical systems, drives, I/O for moving parts in induction heating systems.
• Develop control systems including enclosures, transformers, fuses, relays, PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, sensors, pneumatics, valves, pumps.
• Develop new control systems meeting UL508A standards.
• Implement testing protocols and validate performance.
• Troubleshoot issues to component level.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and sales for cost estimates.
• Create detailed documentation and ECOs.
