Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
- Familiarity with Altium Designer and/or OrCAD/Cadence preferred.
- Basic understanding of DFM/DFT principles for PCBA desirable.
Responsibilities
- Review customer PCB designs and BOMs for DFM/DFT issues before production.
- Support schematic and layout reviews using Altium Designer and OrCAD/Cadence.
- Manage ECRs/ECOs and component obsolescence issues through resolution.
- Support NPI builds, first-article inspection, and design validation.
- Troubleshoot production-floor engineering and test issues to root cause.
- Assist test development and debug with the test engineering team.
- Review test results and determine disposition for design-related failures.
- Manage documentation related to engineering changes and design records.
- Collaborate with quality, test engineering, and production to close corrective actions.
