Qualifications

Electrical Engineer (PCB), South LA, $120,000-145,000 + equity + healthcare

Electrical Engineer (PCB/DC) sought for a fast-growth startup business who are hugely scaling and are massively mission driven - focused on water sustainability and science through groundbreaking technology & innovation. The Electrical Engineer (PCB/DC) will lead the design and development of advanced PCB-based power electronics that drive cutting edge water desalination products.

As a Electrical Engineer (PCB/DC), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electrical and system level requirements as well as lead PCB design efforts, focused on layout and components.

Location: South LA, Hawthorne

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and optimize power electronics, such as DC converters and motor drives
• Evaluate electrical components to ensure design and reliability as well as environmental goals
• Conduct verification and validation testing and iterate on designs to ensure robust and reliable performance
• Work closely on system integration efforts with both mechanical and firmware engineers
• Focus on DFM/DFT activities to ensure scalability

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years experience in PCB design and power electronics (though will consider strong academic background or 1+ year experience)
• Well-versed with PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle)
• Good understanding of power circuit and EMI sensitive designs
• Basic understanding of microcontrollers and digital circuit design

This role is offering between $120,000-145,000 depending on experience + equity + healthcare plus other benefits
