Job summary

System One is hiring an Electrical Engineer for a 12-month onsite contract in Red Wing, MN. You will lead projects, apply engineering standards, and coordinate activities from design through commissioning in a heavy industrial setting.

The role requires a ABET-accredited engineering degree and 2+ years of experience; EIT/FE is preferred, with exposure to power systems and large facilities. Onsite work with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited.
• 2+ years relevant engineering experience.
• EIT/FE strongly preferred.
• Experience with power plants, utilities, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Experience in project management or construction management.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects of moderate to large size, applying standards and techniques.
• Provide field engineering oversight for testing, inspections, commissioning, etc.
• Coordinate multiple projects from design through commissioning.
• Prepare bid documents and provide technical evaluations in proposals.
