Job summary

IMEG in Kansas City, Missouri is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Graduate. The role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship and training from day one.

You'll support engineering solutions and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings. You'll work with experienced engineers and consultants to deliver projects while adhering to budgets and deadlines, participate in cross-disciplinary teams, and develop practical design documentation

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Prior internship in building design consulting preferred.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of electrical systems per code and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and maintain relationships.
• Support project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and propose solutions with senior staff.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to meet standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Prioritize safety in all engineering work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
