Job summary

IMEG is seeking an Electrical Engineering New Graduate in Germantown, MD. This entry-level role provides hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship and training from day one.

You will assist with electrical system design for buildings, engage with cross-functional teams, and support project budgets while advancing high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and building electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and analysis of electrical systems, creating designs, specifications, and calculations.
• Support projects as part of a project team, including planning and scheduling tasks.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and assist in developing practical solutions with senior engineers.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure designs meet standards.
• Stay current on industry trends and contribute to R&D within IMEG.
• Prioritize safety in all engineering work and identify potential safety risks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions meeting project goals.
