Job summary

IMEG is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Graduate in Las Vegas, NV to support design, analysis, and oversight of building electrical systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience with mentorship and training, contributing to project planning, documentation, and client communication within a hospitality-focused practice.

Based in our Las Vegas team, you will collaborate with senior engineers, learn industry best practices, and advance high‑performance, energy‑efficient design aligned with MEI2030

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Engineering in Training (EIT) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and concepts for technical plans and specifications.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills in circuits, electromagnetism, power systems, and building electrical design.
  • Familiar with lighting and energy compliance tools (AGI, Elum Tools, Visual Lighting, ComCheck, Adobe or Bluebeam Revu).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% and learn in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in design and analysis of electrical systems, creating detailed designs and calculations.
  • Support project execution within a consulting team, including planning and scheduling tasks.
  • Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
  • Document design decisions and monitor progress with senior engineers.
  • Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and contribute practical solutions.
  • Participate in quality control to ensure designs meet standards and client needs.
  • Stay current on industry trends and contribute to R&D efforts.
  • Prioritize safety and identify risks in electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Support project budgets and cross-functional project goals.
