IMEG Corp in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an entry‑level Mechanical Engineer for design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in hospitality and MEP projects. You will work under mentorship to gain hands‑on experience from day one, with opportunities to grow skills in code compliance, documentation, and client coordination.

The role emphasizes in‑office work, collaboration with a cross‑functional team, and supporting project planning and quality control while pursuing EIT

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of design techniques and tools for technical plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, using engineering software and tools to develop designs, specifications, and calculations that align with code requirements and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to understand needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support consulting projects as part of a project team and assist with project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Assist with documenting design decisions and client instructions while monitoring project design progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions with support from senior engineers and consultants.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to help ensure designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering, and contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG.
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work and identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals.
• Work within the project’s monetary budget and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.
