Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking a hardware engineer for the Moored Training Ship (MTS) Hardware Engineering Team. You will support high-fidelity submarine and aircraft carrier simulators used for training, qualification, and proficiency of U.S. Navy sailors.

Join a mission-driven team delivering next-generation reactor plant simulators and contribute to the training of Navy personnel in a critical defense program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field with relevant experience.
  • Experience with design, testing, and delivery of simulator hardware is a plus.
  • Candidate currently in Reactor Training/Refueling/Field engineer roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for high-fidelity submarine simulators.
  • Participate in design, construction, testing, and delivery of next-generation simulators.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure mission-critical training for Navy sailors.
