Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an innovative, highly motivated engineer to shape the next generation of propulsion plant simulation technology. You will contribute directly to trainer integration across the hardware project life cycle, including design, fabrication, installation, and test, while collaborating with suppliers to meet technical requirements and program objectives.

The successful candidate will plan independent work, interface with stakeholders, support design reviews, review

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical, engineering or science field.
  • Master's degree in a related technical, engineering or science field.
  • Doctorate in a related field with relevant experience.
  • Current senior engineering role at the company with related titles.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct independent work efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Interface with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Support design reviews and technical interchanges with suppliers.
  • Review and disposition supplier design submittals to validate against requirements.
  • Support on-site hardware inspections of production equipment at supplier facilities.
