Delphinus Engineering LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and support shipboard electrical systems for Navy applications. You will develop detailed electrical designs, participate in a collaborative design environment, and ensure data integrity across engineering teams.

The role involves field verification, installation support, and coordination with Navy customers and Delphinus staff. A DoD security clearance and travel up to 20% are required.

Competenze

• Requires U.S. citizenship and a BSEE or related field.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Familiar with shipboard power distribution and Navy standards.

Mansioni

• Perform shipchecks and waterfront field verification; prepare system specs and new installation drawings.
• Read, interpret, and troubleshoot HM&E systems using SIDs and schematics.
• Conduct electrical load, short-circuit, coordination, and voltage-drop analyses.
• Prepare electrical drawings and design packages, BOMs and routing lists.
• Lead peer design reviews and QA checks with stakeholders.
• Support Navy systems engineering processes and develop installation procedures.
• Assist with shipboard design deliverables and maintain revision control.
• Provide on-site support and ensure design intent is executed correctly.
