Delphinus Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our Marine Engineering Division in Norfolk, VA. This role covers design, development, testing, and life-cycle support of shipboard and shore-based HM&E systems, coordinating with Navy customers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust electrical solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in control systems for maritime or defense environments, can read schematics, and have PLC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with control systems in industrial, maritime, or defense environments.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Support HM&E systems delivered to the Navy, both shipboard and shore based.
• Design, development, testing, and lifecycle support of electrical systems.
• Generate and review requirements, specifications, and test plans.
• Troubleshoot and modify electrical equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with Navy personnel and internal teams on architecture and development strategies.
