Atoms is building real-world robotic systems and harnessing electrical design to power sophisticated facilities. We seek an experienced electrical engineer to lead power distribution, panel design, and charging infrastructure across multiple sites, collaborating with AHJs and utility providers to energize projects on schedule.

With 7–10 years of relevant experience and a PE license preferred, you will ensure permit-ready drawings, compliance, and cost‑effective solutions while integrating with

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical engineering experience in commercial, industrial, or high‑power facilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; ability to obtain additional state licensure/reciprocity as needed.
• Experience with NEC, NFPA 70/70E, and local utility interconnection requirements.
• Experience preparing permit‑ready electrical drawings and independently managing AHJ and utility plan review/energization cycles.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical system design and analysis across new and retrofit facilities.
• Prepare electrical calculations, drawings, and specifications for permit submittal.
• Design power distribution and charging circuits for EV/AV charging infrastructure; coordinate transformer and service upgrades.
• Coordinate with utility providers for power availability and energization for new sites.
• Collaborate with structural, building design, civil, and MEP teams to resolve conflicts and keep costs in check.
• Respond to AHJ and utility plan review comments to keep permitting on schedule.
• Evaluate vendor submittals for code compliance and site suitability.
• Support construction administration with RFIs, submittals, and field observation.
• Develop standardized electrical details and templates for rapid deployment across business lines.
