Job summary

Amatriot Group, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Operations to support mission-critical facilities at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM. This role supports the KEOS contract and requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S.

government-issued security clearance. You will evaluate electrical systems, perform load calculations, assist with project planning, and prepare cost estimates for projects ranging up to tens of millions of dollars.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree.
• Experience planning or performing facility maintenance, improvements, or repairs.
• Ability to identify and understand components across electrical, architectural, civil, mechanical, and fire protection systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate electrical systems, equipment, and applications.
• Provide electrical engineering expertise including loads calculations and generator sizing.
• Consult USAF R&O playbook to develop maintenance requirements for projects.
• Perform interim and final inspections of installations and renovations.
• Prepare reports and documents to explain project information and findings.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams for project scoping and cost estimates.
• Prepare cost estimates for electrical systems on medium-to-large projects.
