Job summary

GenSystems Power Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in Microgrid Solutions to provide technical support across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and aftersales to ensure proper integration of Microgrid equipment and systems.

Responsibilities include interpreting electrical drawings, assisting with sizing and specifications, and contributing to root‑cause analyses and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5 years of experience in MVDC, HVDC, power electronics, electric utility systems, or related power engineering domains.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems behavior in DC applications, including converters, protection schemes, switchgear, and power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal functions to ensure proper application and integration of Microgrid equipment and solutions.
• Respond to inquiries from utilities, EPC firms, OEM partners, and field service teams regarding Microgrid performance and installation.
• Review electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications for Microgrid systems.
• Support investigation and resolution of technical issues including root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance Microgrid performance, safety, and manufacturability.
• Assist in preparing and updating technical documentation like specifications, test procedures, and manuals.
• Provide technical input during sales and proposal activities including equipment sizing and customer requirements clarification.
