Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Revit for electrical designs.

• Experience with design documentation and drawing production.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize changing needs.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering projects across power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team! The role involves the design and engineering of power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with the latest NEC, Virginia Building Codes, and energy standards. Key responsibilities include leading electrical engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating technical concepts effectively to clients and team members. Operational Management: As a potential Partner, participate in firm-wide decision-making, including financial planning, recruitment strategy, and long-term scaling.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other engineering teams and staff members to best implement new products or projects
• Design power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with the latest NEC, Virginia Building Codes, and energy standards
• Work with other engineers to test and improve current systems and components
• Provide technical support to the facility and staff
• Provide input to staff and management for timing, scheduling of products, and projected expenses, as needed
