A DESIGN GROUP LLC in Virginia is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and engineer power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems, ensuring NEC and building code compliance. The role involves leading electrical projects and communicating technical concepts to clients and team members.

Mentorship: supervise and grow a team of junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.

Qualifications

Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) preferred.
Experience using AutoCAD and Revit for electrical designs.
Design with constructability and code compliance in mind.
Experience with design documentation and drawing production.
Ability to multitask and prioritize changing needs.
Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering projects across power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
Ensure designs comply with NEC, Virginia Building Codes, and energy standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and test current systems.
Provide technical support to facility staff and clients.
Contribute to scheduling, budgeting, and project planning.
