Komatsu Mining Corp. seeks an experienced engineer to lead and contribute to projects focused on developing, maintaining, and improving mining products and processes.

You will perform evaluations, solve technical challenges, and ensure compliance with global standards while supporting team leadership, learning, and change management. This onsite role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and supplier engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant discipline.
• 4 years’ experience in engineering design, machine application, mining industry, desired.
• Experienced in the use of CAD tools, desired.
• Participation in Lean Engineering principles, desired.
• Participation in Change Management implementation, desired.
• Experience in cross-functional teams, highly desired.
• Certifications or demonstrated project management, desired.
• Professional registration and/or membership in technical societies, beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects to develop and support components, products and services.
• Conduct evaluations, calculations, and tests with defined requirements.
• Provide strategic solutions for engineering projects and evaluations.
• Pursue personal learning and development for organizational benefit.
• Supervise small groups supporting components and process improvements.
• Engage with suppliers on changes or new requirements.
• Perform engineering tests to meet defined needs; consult experts when needed.
• Maintain awareness of global and regional regulations and safety standards.
