Komatsu's AMNO team in Franklin, PA, seeks an Electrical Engineer to join on-site and help develop, maintain, and improve mining equipment and processes. You will lead projects, perform evaluations and tests, and drive results with global standards in mind.

Experience with CAD tools, Lean Engineering, and cross-functional collaboration is valued, as is change management, mentoring, and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 4 years' experience in design and mining applications.
• Experience with CAD tools.
• Lean Engineering principles experience.
• Change Management implementation experience.
• Cross-functional team experience is highly desired.
• Certifications or project management experience preferred.
• Professional registration or technical society membership beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects to develop and support components, products and services.
• Perform engineering evaluations, calculations and tests per defined requirements.
• Provide conceptual and strategic engineering solutions.
• Take responsibility for learning and development for mutual benefit.
• Act as a group leader for those supporting components and processes.
• Support communication to ensure compliance with global design and safety standards.
• Support improvements to streamline engineering processes and change management.
