Job summary

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. in Bradley, Illinois, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead plant electrical operations and supervise electricians and technicians, guiding construction projects and equipment installations in a fast-paced packaging environment.

You will apply control theory, calibrate instrumentation, and manage projects using AutoCAD and Allen-Bradley PLCs, ensuring safety and reliability while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience plus an Associate’s degree.
Experience supervising a manufacturing maintenance/engineering workforce.
Strong knowledge of control systems and plant facilities including power distribution up to 4160V.

Responsibilities

Oversees daily plant electrical operations and supervision of electricians and technicians.
Directs installation, construction, modifications and equipment commissioning.
Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and plans corrective actions.
Develops diagrams, drawings and specifications for modifications or expansions.
Leads safety-focused improvements and project execution.
