Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with an Electrical emphasis to support 16 North American facilities.

The role involves electrical programming, problem solving, and implementing improvements for metal food and aerosol cans and related packaging processes. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, and hands-on PLC experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Modicon.

Qualifications

BS degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
5+ years in a packaging manufacturing environment, food production or a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical power and controls design and installation.
Experience with PLC logic programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon).
Experience with power distribution up to 600V and three-phase systems.
Proven ability to deliver engineering outputs to hit targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

Provide problem-solving on electrical technical matters for can and end performance.
Develop full documentation for new and existing installations.
Support new installations and plants until production efficiencies are met.
Assist plants to identify issues and implement solutions.
Develop job completion schedules and monitor progress.
Guide and train plant electrical teams.
