Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. seeks an Engineer V, Electrical (Oil & Gas) to lead the electrical engineering team in Houston, TX. You will oversee design and implementation of electrical systems and provide technical leadership across projects.

The role requires a PE license (preferred), 10+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of power distribution and control systems. Expect a collaborative, client-focused environment with growth opportunities within Bowman.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Ten or more years of relevant industry experience.
• PE licensure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design reviews and project planning for electrical systems.
• Lead and manage the electrical engineering team in design and implementation.
• Present engineering Deliverables to stakeholders and clients.
• Plan and forecast deliverable progress to support project schedules.
• Identify scope changes and estimate impact on effort and schedule.
• Support proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope and deliverables.
