Syska Hennessy Group in Washington, DC seeks an Electrical Engineer IV to advance basic designs under senior guidance. You will develop specifications, narratives, and layouts for a range of projects, while coordinating with internal teams and clients.

The role emphasizes design progression, teamwork, and professional growth. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years in consulting, and LEED AP is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited Institution.
• 7+ years of experience in a consulting firm.
• PE registration preferred; FE/EIT required.
• LEED AP highly preferred.
• Experience with Federal, Healthcare, Commercial, and Mission Critical projects.
• REVIT and AutoCAD MEP experience.
• Proficient in design and calculation software.

Responsabilités

• Create basic designs under the direction of the Senior Engineer/Senior Designer.
• Develop specifications, system narratives, and layouts for various projects.
• Establish system parameters/sequences under supervision.
• Oversee QA/QC processes for own work and others.
• Assist in project scheduling, manpower, and budgets.
• Perform construction administration and field inspections; prepare reports.
• Assist in processing RFIs, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda.
