Job summary

GBA’s Buildings Group in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to contribute to the Mission Critical team designing mechanical and electrical systems for data centers, telecommunications, and industrial facilities.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, project managers, and construction managers in an integrated team to deliver real-world project experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel software is preferred.
• 2.7 GPA strongly preferred.
• Finished at least two years of school.
• Prior internship is and/or related experience is a plus.
• Involved in campus, community, and other volunteer activities and/ or organization.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

The Buildings Group at GBA is welcoming engineering students to join our team as interns! The buildings group Mission Critical. Lenexa, KS.

Mission Critical specializes in many of the top Information Technology companies. Our team in Mission Critical will work on the design of mechanical/electrical systems for data center, telecommunications, and industrial facilities.

Mission Critical offers the opportunity to work within an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, project managers, and construction managers.

What You'll Do:

• Preparing construction documents for various systems
• Review of shop drawings and RFI’s

• Facility evaluations and engineering studies
