Job summary

GBA Life Sciences is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support design and drafting for mechanical and electrical systems in bio-pharma projects. The team collaborates with architects, commissioning specialists, project managers and construction managers in Lenexa, KS or Broomfield, CO.

Interns will help prepare construction documents, review submittals, verify permits and codes, and conduct facility evaluations and engineering studies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field from accredited program.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel software is preferred.
• 2.7 GPA strongly preferred.
• Finished at least two years of school.
• Prior Internship is and/or related experience is a plus.
• Involved in campus, community, and other volunteer activities and/ or organization.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Life Sciences Group at GBA is welcoming engineering students to join our team as interns in Lenexa, KS or Broomfield, CO. Life Sciences serves many of the world's top 20 bio-pharma companies. Our Life Science group is a collaborative team of engineers and architects focused on the design of mechanical and electrical systems within the bio-pharma industry. Life Sciences offers the opportunity to work within an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, project managers, and construction managers.
