Job summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems in Bridgeton, MO is seeking a Summer Electrical Engineer Intern to assist with electrical and electro-mechanical design, analysis, and integration tasks across multiple projects. The role emphasizes hands-on experience, teamwork, and practical problem solving in a production environment.

The intern will engage in block diagrams, detailed design, simulation, debugging, and documentation, while learning from engineers across disciplines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, and currently a junior or above in a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical engineering activities and assist with system- and component-level design and integration.
• Contribute to design, simulation, debugging, testing, and documentation of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and propose corrective modifications while meeting project deadlines.
• Communicate progress and work with cross-functional teams and customers as needed.
