Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Inter-Satellite Link Avionics team in Redmond. You will design electrical functions, condition analog sensor signals, and monitor spacecraft interfaces to enable high-speed, reliable communications across satellites.

The role emphasizes hands-on board design, testing, and rapid problem-solving with a team of engineers. You will contribute to aerospace-grade hardware in a fast-paced environment with meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hardware engineering experience.
• Experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design.
• Experience with PCB design and debugging, including microprocessors, FPGAs, power supplies, ADCs and sensors.
• Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead board design and component selection, to layout review and board bring-up.
• Perform system test and root cause analysis at subsystem and system levels.
• Ensure high quality and innovative designs; review and improve board/electrical designs.

Skills

Analog and digital circuit design

Schematic and layout ECAD tools

Programming: Python or C/C++

Excellent written and verbal comms
