Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join the Leo Avionics Test Software team in Redmond. You will design and implement test software for avionics subsystems, building automated test execution and continuous delivery pipelines with cross-functional engineers, operations, and design teams.

You will contribute to development and production testing environments, delivering reliable software and supporting production readiness for satellite testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming in at least one modern language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for automated hardware test execution with design and operations teams.
• Create automation software for lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, loads, power supplies, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, test chambers).
• Support development and deployment of test systems for development, debugging and production testing.
• Provide operational support for software used in development and production testing.
