Job summary

Resurgent Industries in Austin, TX, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own the electrical side of large-scale industrial manufacturing equipment. You will design, build, and integrate electrical systems, PLCs, and PCBA bring-up.

You will collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers, generate schematics and BOMs, and support shop-floor assembly. The role requires 4+ years hands-on experience in industrial automation and strong troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical engineering in a hands-on, build-oriented setting.
• Experience integrating PLC-based control systems in industrial equipment.
• Familiar with selecting motors, VFDs, sensors, and power distribution.
• Experience in PCBA design, schematic capture and board bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for large-scale equipment.
• Select components and specify integration with machine designs.
• Contribute to PCBA design, including schematic capture and bring-up.
• Develop PLC-based control systems and machine automation sequencing.
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues from component to system level.
• Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers on full machine builds.
• Help define electrical engineering standards and processes as the team grows.
