Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of job-related experience.
• Sitting for the FE or a current EIT certification.
• Basic knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, apply basic design criteria, prepare and modify drawings with input and red-line corrections.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of NEC 250 grounding requirements for electrical services and distribution systems.
• Understand branch circuit conductors and NEC 310 sizing and insulation types.
• Apply NEC 210, 215 and 220 for branch feeders, motors, and circuits with overload protection.
• Demonstrate understanding of conduit types, sizing, and NEC annex 'C' applications.
• Create basic one-line diagrams and perform basic load calculations for simple services leading to service size.
• Other duties as assigned.
