Job summary

DC Engineering is seeking an Electrical Designer / EIT Engineer to join the team in Meridian, Idaho or Missoula, MT. The role is suitable for an EIT seeking hands-on consulting experience, or an experienced designer with 5+ years in electrical design and drafting.

You will develop electrical construction documents for commercial projects, focusing on power, lighting, and low-voltage systems, with drawing development in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire.
5+ years of electrical drafting/design experience acceptable for Designer Track.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical construction documents for commercial projects.
Design power, lighting, and low-voltage systems and prepare drawings.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines in Revit/AutoCAD.
Perform field verification and maintain project documentation.
Support drafting standards and project templates to meet schedules.
