Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II in Tucson, AZ for hands-on, multi-discipline testing work. The role focuses on designing interface assemblies, selecting and integrating test instruments, and developing test systems for Raytheon products in a factory and lab setting.

The candidate contributes to all stages of test product development and manages technical, cost, and schedule aspects, with an emphasis on problem solving and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integrate Raytheon test products within Test Equipment in multidiscipline engineering teams
• Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis
• Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of assigned projects
• Act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products
