Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for its Test Equipment Directorate in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on designing interfaces, test systems, and integration with test instruments, with hands-on multidisciplinary collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a university degree and up to 2 years of related experience, and must be eligible for a DoD security clearance. Onsite work is required in Tucson.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon test products within Test Equipment in multidiscipline engineering teams.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis.
• Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of assigned projects.
• Act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.
