Job summary

RENA North America is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems. The role includes collaboration with teammates, applying engineering principles, and ensuring reliability, safety, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years experience in electrical power systems design.
• Advanced knowledge of integrating electrical heaters, pumps, PLCs, computers, and controllers.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and project management skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and leadership to junior members of the electrical design team.
• Constructs and completes an advanced electrical system schematic and Bill of Materials for complex equipment involving strong chemicals.
• Responsible for creating design solutions and advanced engineering tasks in a timely manner.
• Design for compliance with industry standards (NEC, UL, NFPA, CE, SEMI, etc).
• Approve and initialize the purchase parts specification process, working with the Materials team, ensuring all parts have adequate and cost-effective sourcing.
• Ensure all assemblies and panels follow RENA and Industry Best Practices for design and Manufacturability.
