Job summary

ESPEC North America, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer II in Colorado to design and develop reliable electrical systems for environmental test chambers.

The role focuses on modifying schematics and panel layouts, releasing electrical designs with AutoCAD Electrical, and ensuring compliance with NEC and UL508A standards. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in electrical calculations (voltage, current, heater, transformer).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email).
  • Intermediate skill level with AutoCAD Electrical.

Responsibilities

  • Modify schematic and panel layouts using engineering best practices.
  • Develop and release electrical designs using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Apply NEC and UL508A standards in designs.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC ladder and HMI programs.
  • Support production and service with design releases and troubleshooting.
  • Create and write engineering manuals and ECNs for new model chambers.
