Job summary

ESPEC North America is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design and develop reliable electrical systems for environmental test chambers. You will modify schematics, build panel layouts, and contribute to product improvements in a fast-paced engineering environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and strong skills in AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Intermediate AutoCAD Electrical experience required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email) required.

Responsibilities

  • Modifies existing schematic and panel layout designs using engineering best practices.
  • Develops and releases electrical designs, including models, assemblies, and schematics, using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Applies NEC and UL508A standards in engineering practices.
  • Operates PID controllers and manages drawings, firmware updates, and HMI interactions.
  • Programs and troubleshoots basic PLC ladder programs and HMI programs.
  • Creates and writes engineering manuals.
