Job summary

POWERX is hiring an Electrical Engineer 2 to provide technical support for substation design, power systems studies, and electrical testing activities. The role offers a path toward professional licensure and exposure to high‑level engineering challenges in a multinational setting.

The position requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET program, a passing Engineering Fundamentals Examination, and 2+ years of experience. Travel up to 25% and strong teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and the Engineering Fundamentals Examination.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and power systems.
• Must pass background/MVR checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical drawings for substations and industrial MV systems.
• Develop equipment specifications and power system studies.
• Support testing and review shop drawings to ensure conformance.
• Guide technicians and interns, review work, and develop testing procedures.
